TECNICAS AVANZADAS DE INTERACCION FISICA HOMBRE-ROBOT APLICADAS AL DESARROLLO DE UN SISTEMA SEGURO Y FIABLE DE REHABILITACION ASISTIDA POR ROBOT THE AIM OF THE PISADHAS PROJECT IS TO ADVANCE IN PHYSICAL HUMAN-ROBOT INTERACTION TECHNIQUES WITH HIGH LEVEL OF SAFETY AND DEPENDABILITY, IN ORDER TO BE USED EFFICIENTLY IN FUTURE AND EMERGING APPLICATIONS WHERE THE ROBOT IS REQUI... THE AIM OF THE PISADHAS PROJECT IS TO ADVANCE IN PHYSICAL HUMAN-ROBOT INTERACTION TECHNIQUES WITH HIGH LEVEL OF SAFETY AND DEPENDABILITY, IN ORDER TO BE USED EFFICIENTLY IN FUTURE AND EMERGING APPLICATIONS WHERE THE ROBOT IS REQUIRED TO WORK IN CLOSE VICINITY OR IN DIRECT CONTACT WITH HUMANS (E,G, REHABILITATION ROBOTICS), THE DEVELOPMENT OF HIGHLY SAFE AND DEPENDABLE ROBOTIC SYSTEMS IS THE KEY FOR THE APPLICATION OF ROBOTS IN HUMAN ENVIRONMENTS, NOT ONLY IN REHABILITATION APPLICATIONS, BUT ALSO IN ASSISTED MANIPULATION, COLLABORATIVE ASSEMBLY, DOMESTIC, ENTERTAINMENT OR MEDICAL APPLICATIONS, THE PROJECT WILL STUDY AND ANALYZE THE DESIGN OF NEW STRUCTURAL AND FUNCTIONAL COMPONENTS OF THE ROBOTIC SYSTEMS, NOVEL CONTROL ARCHITECTURES, ALGORITHMS FOR SUPERVISION AND PLANNING AND THE USE OF NEW COMBINATIONS OF EXTERNAL/INTERNAL ROBOT SENSING TO DRASTICALLY INCREASE DEPENDABILITY AND OVERALL SAFETY OF ROBOTIC SYSTEMS IN HUMAN ENVIRONMENTS, THE SECOND LEG OF THE PROJECT IS TO INTEGRATE ALL THIS NEW DEVELOPMENTS IN A ROBOT-AIDED REHABILITATION PLATFORM, TO DO THIS, THE PROPRIOCEPTIVE NEUROMUSCULAR FACILITATION (PNF) METHOD HAS BEEN CHOSEN AS A REHABILITATION ENVIRONMENT WHERE SAFETY AND DEPENDABILITY FROM THE THERAPIST AND PATIENT SIDE ARE A CHALLENGING ISSUE,THE PISADHAS PROJECT WILL ADDRESS THE FOLLOWING SCIENTIFIC OBJECTIVES:¿ TO RESEARCH ON THE DESIGN OF NEW STRUCTURAL AND FUNCTIONAL COMPONENTS OF THE ROBOTIC SYSTEMS AND ON CONTROL ALGORITHMS FOR HANDLING HUMAN-ROBOT INTERACTION WHILE GUARANTEEING THE PERFORMANCE OF THE SYSTEM¿ TO DEVELOP NEW ALGORITHMS FOR SUPERVISION AND PLANNING FOR HIGHLY SAFE AND DEPENDABLE ROBOTIC SYSTEMS USING NEW COMBINATIONS OF EXTERNAL/INTERNAL ROBOT SENSING,¿ TO DEVELOP A ROBOT-AIDED REHABILITATION SYSTEM TO CARRY OUT THE PNF TECHNIQUES, WITH SPECIAL ATTENTION TO PATIENT¿S AND PHYSIOTHERAPIST¿S SAFETY AND TO THE DEPENDABILITY OF THE ROBOTIC SYSTEM¿ TO RESEARCH ON HUMAN-MACHINE INTERFACES (HMI) FOR ROBOTIZED PNF TECHNIQUES, BASED ON VIRTUAL REALITY ENVIRONMENTS,SYNERGY WITH THE MEDICAL PART (FULLY INTEGRATED) WILL BE OF PARAMOUNT IMPORTANCE FOR THE ACHIEVEMENT OF THE PROJECT PURPOSES AND THE FUTURE CLINICAL APPLICATION, IT IS NOTICEABLE THE INTEREST ON THE RESULTS AND THE SCIENTIFIC SUPPORT FOR PISADHAS PROJECT SHOWED BY HOCOMA A,G, HOCOMA A,G, (WWW,HOCOMA,COM) IS A SWISS MEDICAL TECHNOLOGY COMPANY AND THE WORLDWIDE LEADER IN ROBOTIC REHABILITATION THERAPY FOR NEUROLOGICAL MOVEMENT DISORDERS AND THE INVENTORS OF THE WELL-KNOWN LOKOMAT SYSTEM, SEGURIDAD\FIABILIDAD\ROBOT\REHABILITACION\CONTROL\INTERFACE ver más
