ExpectedOutcome:The successful proposals will facilitate the large-scale deployment of fibre crops and wood fibres for biorefining applications in line with the EU Bioeconomy Strategy[1] and the updated EU Industrial Strategy[2] and will allow reaching the objectives of the Circular Economy[3] and Zero Pollution Action Plan[4], the Biodiversity Strategy[5], the Long-term vision for the EU rural areas[6], and the objectives of the R&I Mission ‘A Soil Deal for Europe’ (in particular, contribution to its objective to reduce soil pollution and enhance restoration and improve soil structure to enhance soil biodiversity), as well as the upcoming European partnership on Agroecology. Contribution to the Mission Restore our Oceans and Waters’ in regards to reduction of microplastics pollution.
