Descripción del proyecto
The Language Service Providers (LSP) in the translation industry currently relies heavily on freelance translators, but despite a high global demand for text translation services, it appears increasingly difficult to find adequately qualified translators for the job. Additionally, LSPs are subject to an increasing pressure to deliver higher quality translations while cutting down on costs and time. Despite improvements on automated translations via software, human translators are necessary to provide quality work. In an attempt to bridge that gap, EasyTranslate has developed VAL, a self-learning platform which will analyse and classify the text by keywords and match the task to the most qualified translator for that particular job. The platform will then analyse the translated text to improve its understanding of the translation made and provide a better match in the future. VAL links the customer seamlessly to the translator and makes an instantaneous best value offer thanks to a dynamic pricing algorithm. The customer therefore enjoys a faster process of higher quality with a better transparency on the VAL platform. EasyTranslate already evolves in the large global translation market, including most of its activity in the European Union, with many large customers including the Danish state and private corporations. The EU has shown a steady interest in efficient translation services and will continue on supporting the demand in the years to come with constant growth. As a cloud-based SAAS product, VAL will be accessible online to any individual, organisation or corporation that requires translation services. It will initially focus on translations between English and French, German or Chinese, and will be extended to its large customer database overtime.
The phase 1 project validates the feasibility of VAL as a project for the market. The concept will be confirmed commercially, financially and technically, to ensure due diligence of the business plan viability.
