Able to adapt their range of properties, depending on the changing process conditions. Use vibration for energy harvesting to drive the intelligent system. Smart materials: compensation of static and / or thermally induced dislocations, vibration damping and decoupling of oscillations. High accuracy in production systems under different conditions and to overcome the traditional limitation of dynamics versus precision. Active participation of industrial partners, including SMEs, covering demonstration activities including pilot implementations in industrial settings.
