THIS PROJECT CONSTITUTES A QUANTITATIVE APPROACH TO THE SYSTEMATIC ANALYSIS OF THE CULTURAL DIVERSITY UNDERLYING THE ARCHAEOLOGICAL RECORD, IT IS BASED ON THE FACT THAT EXTENSIVE ANALYSIS OF THE CULTURAL DIVERSITY WITHIN ARCHAEOLOGICAL ASSEMBLAGES IS KEY FOR THE COMPREHENSION OF CULTURAL CHANGE, IF DIVERSITY STRUCTURE REFLECTS THE POPULATIONAL BEHAVIOURAL VARIETY, THE ANALYSIS OF ITS EVOLUTION ALLOWS INFERRING INFORMATION ABOUT SOCIAL CHANGE IN AND BETWEEN DIFFERENT POPULATIONS, IN ORDER TO DO SO, THE USE MATHEMATICAL AND COMPUTATIONAL MODELS IS DEVELOPED, AS WELL AS STATISTICAL PROCEDURES APPLIED WITHIN DIFFERENT SCIENTIFIC DISCIPLINES WITH THE GOAL OF CHARACTERISING EVOLUTIONARY PATTERNS ON LIVING ORGANISMS, THE CENTRAL OBJECTIVE OF THIS PROJECT IS TO CREATE HIGH CHRONOLOGICAL RESOLUTION ANALYSIS LABORATORIES, SO THAT WE CAN GENERATE BASIC DATA IN ORDER TO TEST HYPOTHESES ABOUT THE MECHANISMS UNDERLAYING CULTURAL VARIABILITY PATTERNS ON RECENT PREHISTORY OF THE IBERIAN PENINSULA (7000-4000 CAL BC) AIMING TO TWO SPECIFIC GEOGRAPHIC TARGETS: THE CENTRAL-SOUTH REGIONS OF VALENCIA AND THE WESTERN PART OF ANDALUSIA, THIS WIDE FRAME INCLUDES DIFFERENT ECONOMIC STRATEGIES, FROM THE LAST MESOLITHIC HUNTER-GATHERERS, TO THE INTRODUCTION OF THE AGRICULTURAL AND LIVESTOCK PRACTICES DURING THE NEOLITHIC AND THEIR EXPANSION AND CONSOLIDATION, THE AFOREMENTIONED ANALYSIS LABORATORIES WILL GATHER RELIABLE DATA ON THE DEPOSITS CHRONOLOGY (BAYESIAN MODELLING), WHICH WILL BE USED AS A BASIS FOR CHARACTERISING EVOLUTIONARY PATTERNS OF MATERIAL CULTURE (ABC MODELS, CLADISTICS), AND FOR THE GENERATION OF EXPLANATORY MODELS ABOUT SPACE-TIME SOCIO-CULTURAL DYNAMICS, IN THIS WAY, LOCAL INFORMATION (BOTTOM UP) BECOMES THE PRINCIPAL STRATEGY FOR DATA PROCESSING IN ORDER TO EXPLORE GENERAL HYPOTHESES ABOUT CULTURAL CHANGE, ARQUEOLOGÍA EVOLUTIVA\NEOLITIZACIÓN\CAMBIO CULTURAL\MODELIZACIÓN CRONOLÓGICA BAYESIANA\CLADÍSTICA\ANÁLISIS ABC\ESTE Y SUR PENÍNSULA IBÉRICA
