CO2VAL FACES THE NEED FOR HUMANITY IN THE 21ST CENTURY OF CARBON NEUTRAL AND CARBON NEGATIVE PROCESSES TO SYNTHESIZE CHEMICALS AND FUELS. CARBON DIOXIDE IS THE MOST ABUNDANT GREENHOUSE GAS, WHICH OFFERS A VIRTUALLY UNLIMITED FOSSIL FUEL FREE SOURCE OF CARBON. HOWEVER, ITS THERMODYNAMICALLY STABILITY IS A MAJOR CHALLENGE FOR ITS TRANSFORMATION, WHICH PRECLUDES ITS WIDESPREAD INDUSTRIAL IMPLEMENTATION. THIS PROJECT PROPOSES AN INNOVATIVE APPROACH BASED ON NOVEL CHEMICAL TECHNOLOGICAL PLATFORMS TO TRANSFORM CO2 AND GREEN HYDROGEN INTO ADDED VALUE CHEMICALS THAT CAN SERVE AS BASIC CHEMICALS, BUILDING BLOCKS FOR CHEMICAL INDUSTRY AND AS HYDROGEN STORAGE VECTORS. HENCE, IT WILL BE KEY FOR THE DECARBONISATION OF THE ENERGY AND CHEMICAL SECTORS AND THEREFORE IS A PERFECT FIT FOR THE CALL SINCE IT ADDRESSES THE ECOLOGICAL TRANSITION TOWARDS CARBON NEUTRAL PRODUCTIVE MODELS. CURRENT TECHNOLOGIES REQUIRE HARSH CONDITIONS, SACRIFICIAL SPECIES, AND THE EMPLOYMENT OF EXPENSIVE CATALYSTS, THUS BEING TECHNO-ECONOMICALLY UNFEASIBLE.CO2VAL WILL OFFER SOLUTIONS TO THESE CHALLENGES BY DEVELOPING EXTREMELY EFFICIENT SYNTHETIC CATALYTIC PLATFORMS FOR CARBON DIOXIDE TRANSFORMATION TO DIFFERENT PRODUCTS, INCLUDING FORMIC ACID (FA) AND METHANOL (MEOH), EMPLOYING CATALYSTS SUPPORTED ON ADVANCED 3D-PRINTABLE (3DP) STRUCTURED REACTORS THAT WILL BE APPLIED UNDER CONTINUOUS-FLOW CONDITIONS. IOXIDO DE CARBONO\REACTORES QUIMICOS\FLUJO CONTINUO\IMPRESION 3D\CATALISIS\LIQUIDOS IONICOS POLIMERICOS
