Dr. Ekain Fernandez
Dr. Ekain Fernandez is the Head of Hydrogen Technologies at TECNALIA. PhD in Chemical Engineering at the Eindhoven University of Technology on membrane reactors for hydrogen production. From 2007 he has been working on the development of membranes for hydrogen separation/purification within the “Materials & Processes Dept.” and he has participated / is participating in several European Projects on this field (DEMCAMER, ReforCELL, FERRET, FluidCELL, BIONICO, HyGrid, MEMERE, MEMBER, ARENHA, HIGGS and MACBETH), and has participated in Spanish projects (SEPHYCO, SPHERA). He is the coordinator of H2BASQUE and H24NEWAGE projects.Currently he is a Board Member and Hydrogen Distribution Technical Committee Leader of Hydrogen Europe Research and he is also a Board Member of the Spanish Hydrogen Association (AeH2).
