Luis Ocaña

Luis Ocaña has a degree in Technical Architecture by the University of La Laguna (2004), a Building Engineering degree by the European University of Madrid (2011) and a Master in Renewable Energies, also by the University of La Laguna (2014). He started working in ITER’s Department of Photovoltaics in 2014, contributing to the foundation of its solar cell laboratory by working on its development and commissioning as well as on its operation and maintenance procedures. Besides, he has participated in several R&D projects in Photovoltaics, financed with public funds (QUATUMORG, FOTOSIL SiNARQ, UVSiTE, AiSoVol, FOTOBAT and MACLAB-PV). Since 2016, He is research at ITER’s Solar Cell Laboratory, where he has been working with perovskite-based solar cells, while pursuing a part-time PhD in Industrial Engineering at the University of La Laguna.
