Irati Rasines (female) obtained her Bachelor in Physics Science (2009) at the University of the Basque Country. In 2010 she studied a Master's Degree in Control Engineering, Automation and Robotics, which gave her access to a PhD. After two years as a doctoral scholarship holder at the Iñaki Goenaga Foundation, she joined the Tecnalia staff in the Health Division in 2011. At the same time, she has completed the Master's Degree in Biomedical Engineering, obtaining the prize for the best student in her class, as she did in the first Master's Degree. The subject of her thesis focuses on automatic robot learning based on human demonstrations in human-robot collaborative scenarios. I. Rasines has also contributed to various projects sponsored by the European Commission in the last years, such as CogLaboration, SARAFun or RobotUnion.
