I obtained my Licenciate Degree in Chemistry in 2010 (University of Valladolid, Spain). In 2011, I obtained my Master's degree in Synthetic and Industrial Chemistry (University of Valladolid, Spain). In 2014, I started my research work in CellMat Group (University of Valladolid) under the supervision of Professor M.A. Rodriguez-Perez. After five years, I obtained my Ph.D. in Physics in the field of polymeric foams in 2019. My work during the Ph.D was focused on the production, and characterization of open and closed cell polyolefin foams (LDPE, EVA, and EBA foams) of a wide range of densities. During my Ph.D I made a Doctoral stay in the Helmholtz Zentrum Berlin where I had the opportunity of performing experiments in order to understand better the decomposition mechanism of azodicarbonamide. After my Ph.D I worked as Project Manager in CellMat Technologies, where I could participate in several projects with national and international companies.Currently, I work as researcher in the Materials Area of the Technological Centre of Miranda de Ebro (CTME, Spain). Besides researching on materials, I'm gathering experience in writing proposals for regional, national and European calls, and in performing projects based on sustainability and circular economy (recycled plastics, biopolymers, bio-based additives, foams etc.)
