Dr. Maribel Arribas
Dr. Maribel Arribas is sernior researcher in the Foundry and Steelmaking area at TECNALIA. PhD in Materials Science (University of Navarra - 2007) and degree in Chemistry with specialization in Petrochemicals (University of Basque Country - 2001). She has participated in international research projects (coordinating 2 of them), research contracts with private companies and public funded R&D projects in the field of metallurgy. Currently, her research activity is focused on the improvement of steel properties through the process optimization and the development of new steel grades with advanced properties for several sectors such as automotive and energy.
