Fuster Orellana
I have been focused on biochemistry, and cell and molecular biology which allow me to tackle mainly cancer-associated problems. I have been working on different topics directly related to human health including cancer cachexia, breast cancer (BC), and most recently also head and neck cancer (HNC). I am the author of 35 papers peer-reviewed, including contributions as first, last and corresponding author in Cancer Res., Breast Cancer Res., Clin. Cancer Res. among others, achieving ~906 citations for an h-index of 18. I also participated in several national and international meetings, presenting the results obtained from my research, and have been invited as a speaker in research and medical institutes. I have participated in several competitive projects as a collaborator and also as a principal investigator. In addition, I have been awarded a Ph.D. and two postdoctoral grants, and an extraordinary Ph.D. award. I have conducted 7 master thesis students and 2 Ph.D. students.
