Descripcion
PhD candidate from the University of Salamanca. He has a master’s degree in International Studies from Flacso-Ecuador and a master’s degree in International Relations from the Institut Barcelona d 'Estudis Internacionals (IBEI). Renato is a member of the Latin American Network for Security Analysis and Organized Crime and has been consulted on security and organized crime issues by the BBC, Diario el Telégrafo and the Portal Plan V. His research focuses on regional security, transnational organized crime, and international political economy
