ELENA HIDALGO PEREZ
PhD in Industrial Engineering (1999) and Civil Engineer (1994). She leads research projects mainly regarding environmentally friendly asphalt mixes (warm mix asphalt, mixes incorporating waste from other industries like rubber from used tyres, plastic from greenhouses, etc), and harvesting in road infrastructures. Moreover, she provides technical assistance to the Production Department such as asphalt mixes quality, special mix design for specific and new applications, quality improvement in the laying of bituminous mixtures, etc.
