Beatriz Gastón-García
Dr. Beatriz Gastón-García, PhD in Chemistry from Barcelona University in the field of the anodising technology (thesis title: “Aluminium anodizing. New contributions to technological problems resolution”). She has been a researcher/project manager at CIDETEC since 2003 and the responsible for anodising technology of light alloys research line (aluminium, magnesium and titanium) for more than 13 years. She has managed numerous projects and has published several papers in international peer reviewed journals on this area. She also possesses a wide expertise in other fields related to surface treatments, as for example, surface preparation, (electro)chemical deposition and characterization of functional/decorative coatings. Nowadays, she works on project conceptualization and proposals preparation in the Documentation and Project Management Department at CIDETEC Surface Engineering Institute.
