PhD in Food Science in the Biotechnology Laboratory at the Instituto Tecnológico de Veracruz (México). A post-doc position in the Plant Pathology Group at the University of Alicante (Alicante, Spain) working in the sudy of interactions between benefical fungi and economical interesting crops against pests such as the plant parasitic nematodes. Moreover, I have collaborated with the Plant Genetics Group from Universidad Miguel Hernandez (San Juan, Spain). My research is focused on understanding the genetic relationship between plants and fungi in order to control pests and improve the crop production in sustainable way. Since 2016, my research is also directed to elucidate the mode of action of botanical extracts as biopesticides and the formulation of different biological control agents to improve their effects on plant growth and development, specially in several stress conditions.
