Descripcion
Verónica Mora-Sanz, Ph.D. She is a chemist whose current research focuses on optical biosensing methods, development of lab-on-a-chip and the application of nanomaterials into the field of immunosensing. She obtained her degree in Chemistry in 2015 and her Master degree in Nanostructured materials for Nanotechnological Applications in 2016 by the University of Zaragoza. She worked at the Institute of Nanoscience of Aragón in 2016 and 2017 as a novel research. In 2022 she completed her PhD in the University of Basque Country after conducting her research between CIC biomaGUNE and Tecnalia. Her thesis entitled Synthesis and applications in immunoassays of antibody-protected nanoclusters was graduated with honors and comprised two publications and one patent which name is Nanocluster-antibody conjugates and uses thereof. Since 2020 she works as research in the Biomaterials Area of Tecnalia and during these years she has been involved in several R+D projects.
