Mireia Vargas-Urpí
Mireia Vargas-Urpi is a Serra Hunter lecturer at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. She holds a PhD in Translation and Intercultural Studies by the UAB. She has a degree in Translation and Interpreting from the UAB, where she also completed a Master in Professional Chinese-Spanish Translation and Interpreting and an Official Master in Research on Contemporary East Asia. Her research interests include public service interpreting with the Chinese community, intercultural mediation and sociologies of translation and interpreting.
