For four years I studied the Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science at the University of Salamanca (Spain). Then I started working as a technician in the Laboratory of Forest Pests and Diseases at the University of Valladolid, specialising in the search for new biological control methods for the most important pests and pathogens in our region. Currently I have just finished my Master's Degree in Teaching and continue my research as technician simultaneously, involved in the project “Integrated management of Pine Wilt Disease caused by Bursaphelenchus xylophilus: new strategies in search of operational solutions” (Leonardo Grants 2020, BBVA Foundation).
