Senior Automotive Researcher. Data Scientist and Artificial Intelligence Engineer.Working as a Senior Automotive Researcher at the Advanced Control Group at TECNALIA Research & Innovation. Design, development, and testing of software applications focused on (a) powertrain ECUs and Energy Management Strategies applied to hybrid and electric vehicles, (b) vehicle data gathering and integration with cloud-based systems applied to the "Digital Powertrain" Concept and (c) development of HiL testing environments.I also lead and coordinate private and public funded projects.Previously, I worked as a:(i) Technical leader of the Data Mining and Artificial Intelligence group of the Digital Manufacturing department at IK4-LORTEK. Lead several projects focused on the implementation of Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Image Analysis algorithms, and its upstream integration with both local and cloud-based systems, applied to Additive Manufacturing and Union Processes.(ii) Senior Engineer in the R&D department of the OPTIMITIVE Group applying Artificial Intelligence-based software solutions for the online optimization of very different Industrial Processes from an Energy Efficiency and Costs Saving point of view.(iii) Junior Researcher at Tecnalia Research & Innovation focusing my work on the design and development of control software for hybrid and electric propulsion systemsExperience coordinating public funded projects (FP7, H2020). Project Coordinator of HyProCell project (H2020-FoF13-2016)Passion for engineering.
