Mayte Gil-Agustí

PhD in Chemistry by the University Jaume I in 2001. Postdoctoral position at Facoltà di Scienze, Università degli Studi di Verona in Italy. Bachelor in Chemistry by the University of Valencia in 1997. Stages at University of Amsterdam and University College of London.She was hired as a Researcher in the Department of Experimental Sciences of the ESTCE of the Jaume I University until 2007. During this period she actively worked in the development and execution of projects financed by the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Bancaixa Foundation and the Generalitat Valenciana. She has contributed to the research and development of 31 liquid chromatography analysis procedures. She has made stays in different prestigious international centers such as CAER at the University of Kentucky In February 2008 she joined the Technological Institute of Energy where she is responsible for the area of applied chemistry and new materials. She actively participates and directs different R+D+i projects focused on the development of carbonaceous materials and polymeric membranes for their application in batteries, supercapacitors and fuel cells. Examples of these proejcts are: Almagrid, Catoli, CircularCarbon, Power2Flow, MatER, SILECTRIC-LL, H2ALRECYCLING and SmartH2PEM. Highlight her work as coordinator of the SOMABAT project in the 7FP Green Car. Currently, she is the ITE representative on the BIOPLAT platform, EMIRI-Energy Materials Industrial Research Initiative, MATERPLAT, Smart Specialization Platform for Industrial Modernisation (S3P-Industry), Spanish Hydrogen and Battery Platform-PTE HPC, GT3 Working Group. Advanced Materials of the European Technology and Innovation Platform (ETIP) "BatteRIes Europe" and EBA.European Battery Alliance.
