Objetivo
The objective of the call is to establish a sustainable and effective European Digital Infrastructure Consortium (EDIC) for the implementation of the European Genomic Data Infrastructure in line with the 1+ Million Genomes initiative. The project aims to enable the uptake of genomics for healthcare and public health, maintain data quality, address legal and ethical aspects, and promote public trust in genomics.
The funded projects will focus on supporting the creation and operation of the EDIC for genomic data, developing frameworks for supervision and data quality assurance, analyzing gaps and proposing measures for sustainability, exploring models for public-private partnerships in healthcare genomics, and promoting education on genomic medicine. The projects will also work towards ensuring data standards and quality requirements are met for the 1+ Million Genomes initiative, aligning with past and ongoing initiatives to avoid duplication and leverage synergies in the ge...
