Wi-Charge is developing a paradigm-shift in wireless power systems that overcomes current limitations, allowing charging devices over the air with a range of 10 meters and available power that is 100X more than batteries. All this preserving health and safety requirements. Our technology will enable the appearance of many new devices and functionalities that today are simply not possible. Imagine devices can enjoy 100X-500X more power than they have today and still work permanently in a wireless mode. It will enable a huge breakthrough in many industries and will take User Experience to the next level.
Our goal is developing proprietary transmitters and receivers, designed to operate for the 1st time at a specialized Infrared (IR) spectrum that we found to be the best one to optimize power, distance, efficiency, and most important, safety; while providing more than 100X better performance compared to solutions based on magnetic induction, radiofrequency (RF) or ultrasound beaming.
