Descripción del proyecto
The ThinkTrust project is a Coordination Action project whose main aim is to bring together the European RandD community in the field of trust, security and dependability (TSD) and other identified important correlative non-technical stakeholders that would have a vested interest and can contribute in a meaningful way in the development of present and future programmes of Research and Development for ICT for Trust, Security and Dependability.

The approach for this proposed Co-ordination Action will be:
(1)\tto consult with the users themselves, with those responsible for facilities and services, and with the researchers and developers providing the technologies, through a sequence of well targeted workshops with preparatory contribution and comment via our web-site; this stage will agree an outline framework that allows common understanding of requirements and of possibilities for solutions;
(2)\tto set up a Think-Tank of experts and representative voices to analyse and review the requirements and potential responses, which will ultimately lead to initial recommendations and options;
(3)\ttake these back to the constituencies through workshops and web-based consultation process;
(4)\tcompile final recommendations for future European RandD and for preparatory actions in other areas critical to long-term acceptance and satisfaction in the Information Society.
