Software bugs account for the highest percentage of failures in all major industries, specifically impacting public service and healthcare the most with 110 types of software failures, and retail and consumer tech with 109 types. According to Tricentis, monetary losses from software failures cost €1.5 Trillion. Unfortunately, software testing methodologies and tools have been slow to transform to the new complexity and higher risks. To fill the gap in the market, Acellere has developed the Gamma Recommendation Engine, a disruptive Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based software engineering platform which efficiently detects a very wide range of software bugs in real-time and immediately proposes fixes. Gamma goes beyond standard programming rules to uncover unique issue patterns by combining innovative AI learning approaches with custom analytical tools. Gamma’s original and surprisingly effective AI components are centred around natural-language programming, predictive modelling, and cluster identification. The engine has already been proven to work with an accuracy of 70-75% on several open source Apache repositories, such as Kafka, Cassandra, and Lucene.
