Descripción del proyecto
TalentGalia is a strategic project for the Galicia region aiming a clear double purpose: increasing and supporting the trans-national mobility of experienced researchers, fostering a true European Research Area; and turning Galicia into one of the top knowledge generation regions in Europe.
The Regional Ministry for Economy and Industry presents this proposal where 64 experienced researchers (70% very experienced) will be attracted to the regional R&D ecosystem to, under an individual driven mobility perspective, perform research activities, widen their research competencies through training and support and, to sum up, to develop their careers.
The selection process will strictly follow the European Charter for Researchers and the Code of conduct for the Recruitment of researches and will be implemented through 7 panels made up of national and international scientific experts. The selected researchers will be offered an employment (fixed term full time) contract and an appealing working environment and conditions.
The three Galician Universities and eight Research Centres will act as hosting institutions. All of them support (by signed letters) this proposal and are committed with the terms established for its implementation.
The Regional Government of Galicia believes TalentGalia Programme is a long-term investment in order to a stay prosperous as region, becoming a world known centre for science and knowledge excellence in Europe and worldwide. This initiative is regarded by the regional government as key point to reach the top of the knowledge society.
