Descripción del proyecto
"Researchers' Night in Serbia 2013, entitled Science in Motion for Friday Night Commotion 2013 (SCIMFONICOM 2.013), will be organized by the Institute of Molecular Genetics and Genetic Engineering, Institute for Biological Research and Faculty of Physical Chemistry, the same team who has successfully implemented the SCIMFONICOM project in 2012. Several cultural and educational institutions supported the project: French Institute (Belgrade and Nis), Institute Servantes, Belgrade City Library and Center for Talents. The objectives of the project are to offer Serbian people from the capital city and rural communities attractive program that combines science and entertainment, to attract large number of participants, to organize broad range of activities for all the categories of the public and to enable direct contact between participants and researchers. Media campaign will be launched early to promote the manifestation and to get rural communities interested in hosting the event. In Belgrade, the program will be set in the pedestrian zone in city center. The following activities will be organized: Science Vans – mobile teams of researchers dispatched to rural areas to perform hands on experiments with participants; Grand Science Adventure – interactive demonstrations from different fields of research; Treasure Hunt – a set of hands on experiments whose successful completion leads to a scientific award; Science (in) Fiction – discussion on scientific phenomena described in literature with researchers as librarians; Pictionary Science Dictionary - a game of drawing and pantomime entered by mixed teams of children and researchers; Ask, Learn, Love – interactive multimedia lectures and discussions on important scientific topics; Jewels of Science – fun workshop based on making jewelry from materials and by processes used in scientific laboratories; European Corners – quiz competition about famous European scientists and interactive display of Serbian FP7 projects."
