Descripción del proyecto The objective of the R&Dialogue project is to create mechanisms for effectively tackling the scientific and technology related challenges faced by society by proactively bringing together different actors with complementary knowledge and experiences. The Mobilisation and Mutual Learning Action Plan (MMLAP) therefore forges partnerships between research organisations and different societal actors. It develops forms of dialogue and cooperation between science and society at different stages of the research process. The partners pool experiences and knowledge and better focus their respective efforts to develop a common approach to the issues at stake. In doing so the MMLAP contributes to sharing innovation more widely and efficiently and to optimizing the role of research and technology in tackling societal challenges. The objective of this project is to organise a dialogue between R&D organisations (RDOs) and civil society organisations (CSOs) that results in a joint vision of CSOs and RDOs on the development of renewable energies and CCS for a low carbon society and identification of actions to improve the dialogue and associated mutual learning. Our task will thus be to create a mechanism for dialogue between research and Civil Society Organisations (CSOs ) to develop a common approach on issues regarding the low-carbon society. This common approach can be used by international, national and local policy makers, CSOs, industry and research. It will result in an Action Plan signed by all participating organisations.
