Descripción del proyecto
The Galileo programme has been facing a very intense period during these last three years: more than 70 R&D projects have been funded under FP6, a significant number of issues have been addressed through the setting up of advisory groups and numerous activities have been initiated on the international scene.
With FP7, Galileo R&D activities are entering a new cycle, with new R&D projects and new issues to be investigated. At a time where the R&D budgets allocated to the European GNSS programme are decreasing, it is vital to maximise the exploitation of the results achieved, the benefits that can be expected from the existence of numerous GNSS-related initiatives in the European Regions and the dissemination of knowledge among the concerned actors.
The proposed Coordination and Support Action (PEGASE) addresses the objectives mentioned above through a series of activities tailored to the needs of the GSA. It includes the following activities: support for the management of the Galileo FP7 1st Call projects, advice to GSA on the domains of interest, establishment of advisory expert groups on request, support to SMEs for the exploitation of results and technology transfer, coordination with national/regional/local initiatives, dissemination of information and knowledge, market monitoring.
