LEITATs European Projects Office has twelve years of experience in the EU Framework Programmes, since its first participation in FP6 up to its successful trajectory in Horizon 2020, This path has gone through different phases of growth and transformation as well as adaptation to the changing conditions of the economic and scientific environments,This action plan gives us the opportunity of thinking of how we want our growth and strength to be in order to face the last two years of H2020, and of guiding LEITATs strategy to the upcoming Horizon Europe framwork programme, The strategy of our Office for the next years is based on the achievement of objectives aligned with the objectives of the Spanish National Plan for Scientific and Technical Research and Innovation 2017-2020 as well as with Europe 2020 Strategy, In this new phase our efforts will focus on the strengthening of the capacities of european projects management to provide added value to the tasks developed by the Office, This value will be achieved by the valorization of R&D results and their exploitation either internally in LEITAT or shared with the companies involved in the collaboration, Moreover, We aim to strengthen LEITATs positioning as an RTO in scientific fields with international relevance including Nanoscience and Nanotechnologies, and to enhance our capabilities in other scientific, areas also relevant for solving societal challenges, where we have obtained great advances (Biomedicine, Circular Economy, Manufacturing, Transport,etc,), Finally, according to LEITATs mission, we will continue the technology transfer of the knowledge acquired from our participation in european projects and integrate it in the fabric of Spanish industry,The following plan will be materialized by the achievement of a significant EU funding, and the number of Spanish companies involved in H2020, the highest objective of our office to date: 17,250,000 of funding and 47 spanish companies involved in H2020 funded projects, All of these will be possible by submitting 205 proposals (47 as coordinator) and the funding of 35 projects (16 as coordinator),
