OBSERVATIONAL CONSTRAINTS ON THE GALAXY POPULATION AND CURRENT SFR IN THE PRESENT-DAY (Z <0,2) UNIVERSE HAVE DRASTICALLY IMPROVED OVER THE LAST YEARS, IN PARTICULAR THROUGH THREE LARGE SURVEYS: 2MASS IMAGING THE SKY IN THE NEAR-INFRARED (SKRUTSKIE ET AL, 1997), AND THE OPTICAL SURVEYS SDSS (YORK ET AL, 2000) AND 2DFRS (COLLESS ET AL, 2001), THE GALAXY LUMINOSITY FUNCTIONS, THE GALAXY (STELLAR) MASS FUNCTION, THE GALAXY CORRELATION FUNCTION, THE DISTRIBUTION OF SPECTRAL ENERGY DISTRIBUTIONS, THE DISTRIBUTION OF GALAXY SIZES, ETC, HAVE BEEN (RE-)DETERMINED WITH UNPRECEDENTED ACCURACY (E,G, BLANTON ET AL, 2003C; NORBERG ET AL, 2002; SHEN ET AL, 2003; KAUFFMANN ET AL, 2003; BELL ET AL, 2003A; STRATEVA ET AL, 2001), NEW UNEXPECTED SCALING LAWS HAVE BEEN FOUND ON THE BASIS OF THESE LARGE SURVEYS, IN PARTICULAR BETWEEN THE METALLICITY AND THE STAR FORMATION RATE TO OTHER GALAXY PROPERTIES, LIKE LUMINOSITY, MASS AND SURFACE BRIGHTNESS (EG,, SKILLMAN ET AL, 1989; TREMONTI ET AL, 2004; VILA-COSTAS & EDMUNDS 1989; ZARITSKY ET AL, 1994; GARNETT 2002), THE COMPARISON WITH THE INTEGRATED PROPERTIES OF GALAXIES AT THE LOCAL UNIVERSE WITH SIMILAR ONES UP TO Z~1 (E,G,, GEMS, RIX ET AL, 2004), HAVE SHOWN HOW THEY HAVE EVOLVED IN THE LAST 8 GYRS, IT SEEMS UBICUOUS WITHIN THIS COSMOLOGICAL TIME THE BIMODAL DISTRIBUTION IN THE COLOR-MAGNITUDE DIAGRAM, WHERE THE EARLY-TYPE, RANDOM-MOTION SUPPORTED GALAXIES POPULATE THE SO-CALLED RED-SEQUENCE, AND THE LATE-TYPE, MOSTLY SUPPORTED BY ROTATION POPULATE THE SO-CALLED BLUE CLOUD, THIS SURVEY HAVE SHOWN THAT ALTHOUGH THE STARFORMATION RATE IS DOMINATED BY LATE-TYPE GALAXIES (EG,, WOLF ET AL, 2005), THERE IS STRONG EVIDENCE THAT THE RED-SEQUENCE (I,E,, NON-STAR-FORMING) SPHEROID POPULATION HAS DOUBLED ITS STELLAR MASS DENSITY SINCE Z ~1 (BELL ET AL, 2004; MCINTOSH ET AL, 2005; FABER ET AL, 2007), THESE RESULTS INDICATE THAT THERE SHOULD BE AN EVOLUTIONARY TRACK BETWEEN THE STARFORMING AND THE APPARENTLY PASIVE EVOLVING GALAXIES, TO ADDRESS THIS QUESTION IT IS REQUIRED TO UNDERSTAND: (1) THE DETAIL MECHANISM OF THE GROWTH OF DISK GALAXIES, AND ITS DEVIATION FROM THE DOMINANT INSIDE-OUT SCENARIO (MUÑOZ-MATEOS ET AL, 2009; TRUJILLO ET AL, 2004, 2006, BARDEN ET AL, 2005), AND (2) THE STAR-FORMATION QUENCHING IN GALAXIES, THAT ALLOWS THEM TO TO EVOLVE FROM THE BLUE-CLOUD TO THE RED-SEQUENCE, TEMPORARY POPULATING THE SO-CALLED GREEN VALLEY, IN BOTH CASES IT IS REQUIRED TO PERFORM SPATIALLY RESOLVED ANALYSIS OF THE STELLAR POPULATIONS, THE IONIZED GAS, THE METALLICITY AND SPECIFIC STAR FORMATION RATE (SFR), TO DISTINGUISH BETWEEN THE DIFFERENT PROPOSED MECHANISMS (RADIAL MIGRATIONS, MINOR/MAJOR MERGERS, AGN FEEDBACK,,,), WE PROPOSE TO STUDY THESE SPATIALLY RESOLVED PROPERTIES OF GALAXIES IN THE LOCAL UNIVERSE USING THREE DIFFERENT DATASETS: (I) THE ~1000 GALAXIES AT Z<0,03 UNDER OBSERVATION BY THE CALIFA SURVEY (HTTP://WWW,CAHA,ES/SANCHEZ/LEGACY/OA), (II) THE ~1000 GALAXIES WITHIN THE ALHAMBRA SURVEY WITH Z<0,1 (HTTP://ALHAMBRA,IAA,ES:8080/), AND (III) THE ~10000 GALAXIES AT Z<0,03 TO BE OBSERVED BY THE 80CM AT JAVALAMBRE WITHIN THE SO-CALLE SHALLOW-SURVEY, IN THIS LATTER CASE, WE WILL A SET OF MEDIM TO BROAD BAND FILTERS SELECTED TO SAMPLE ACCURATELY THE PROPERTIES OF THE SED OF GALAXIES IN THIS REDSHIFT RANGE, TOGETHER WITH TWO NARROW-BAND FILTERS, THAT WILL ALLOW US TO PERFORM AN HALPHA SURVEY OF ~8000 SQUARE DEGREES AT THE SAME REDSHIFT, EVOLUCION DE GALAXIAS\GALAXIAS\ISM\ESPECTROSCOPIA 3D\IFS\POBLACIONES ESTELARES\AGNS
