Based on these principles, we developed our first marketing solution C.A.P. (Connecting Ad-Impressions with Purchase): A novel digital marketing channel installed in grocery stores. The intelligent system ensures that shoppers see relevant content during their purchase decisions. C.A.P. connects the seen content with a shopper’s transactional data, enabling unique big data analyses to measure the advertising effectiveness. After several years of development, C.A.P. was launched mid-2018 in Germany and since then, the system’s market demand (profitability), technical functionality and advertising effect hass been continuously monitored. 100% of the store managers want to keep the system. Various brands have run a campaign on C.A.P. and are enthusiastic about its impact and respective analytical insights – therefore our customers were willing to pay prices which are several times higher than average TV advertising. This highlights the importance to quickly build up reach.
