Descripción del proyecto
WasteWater Science Ltd is a Maltese fast growing SME that has a clear business objective to produce wastewater recovery
products and to reclaim the nutrients in the wastewater for productive use. Our company intends to commercialise a novel
affordable, portable and autonomous wastewater treatments units and make the business more profitable and sustainable
through a novel business model. We are challenging the status quo of organic waste disposal by offering producers a novel
and greener alternative that is more convenient, eliminates disposal and hauling costs and in countries where water is a
scarce and expensive resource it recovers water from organic waste, thus reducing significantly their water bills. 70% of the
world’s water is used in the agricultural sector. Our novel product creates added value from waste and by-products
generated on farm and saves the farmer 85% of costs. Our company has diversified from Big Players and has created an
untapped niche market in the $1 Billion wastewater treatment industry. Our solution provides a high economic impact to the
global agriculture sector. We foresee that our innovative product will generate over €5 Million to our annual revenue by 2020,
increase our annual profits by 10% and grow direct employment by 1150% by 2020. Phase 1 of this innovative project is to
carry out an elaborate Feasibility Study and Business Plan to get this product from TRL6 to TRL9 and commercialise it in the
international market
