The main market for our product is the wine making process.
During the wine fermentation, the most critical point is a stop during the fermentation. The fermentation process is a fragile
balance between yeast, which will transform sugar into alcohol and CO2. During the fermentation, the most common method
of managing the process is by raising or decreasing the temperature in the tank. Another method is by pressure, but this is
highly expensive and not so accurate, as it prevents the yeast to grow and work.
Our system consists in
- Software
- Bluetooth digital refractometer
- Bluetooth digital Thermostat
- Derivation Box
By measuring the liquid with the Refractometer, the value will be automatically sent to the software.
At the moment of the reception of the value from the refractometer, the software connects via Bluetooth with the Thermostat
to request the actual temperature of the connected tank.
Then the actual values will be treated and shown in a graph directly after a confirmation of the values by pressing OK
Button which will appear at that time. Then the software calculates the difference between the actual point of evolution in the
tank and the optimal situation. For creating an optimal curve, the winemakers have to enter some specific values in the
system once he creates the tank. After the calculation, the software automatically sends the optimal fermentation
temperature back to the thermostat. As the thermostat is linked vie the derivation box to the cooling/heating circuits of the
specific tanks, the thermostat and derivation boxes works accordingly to change the temperature to the desired temperature
in the tank till the next measurement will be done.
