ExpectedOutcome:In line with the objectives of the Circular Economy[1] and Zero Pollution Action Plan[2], as well as the Farm to Fork Strategy[3], the new regulation on the assessment and authorisation of feed additives[4], food additives, food enzymes and food flavourings[5] as well as the regulation for the re-evaluation of programme of approved food additives[6], the successful proposals will contribute to the development of sustainable and healthy bio-based food and feed ingredients other than proteins. Successful proposals will also contribute to the implementation of the EU Bioeconomy Strategy[7], to the updated EU Industrial Strategy[8] and to Europe’s food security and Farm2Fork strategy ambition.
